Why is it worth restoring products with polyurethane?
Polyurethane coating restoration – restoration with polyurethane coating – is a mechanical processing process that completely removes the previous coating (rubber, plastic or worn polyurethane), then covers the product with a new layer of polyurethane. This process takes place in four stages:
- Complete removal of the old coating by mechanical means
- Preparing the part for applying a new layer of polyurethane
- Product coating with polyurethane
- Polyurethane coating polymerization (hardening)
Restoration of levers, bushings, support cushions is carried out in the same way as other products, but polyurethane is poured into the inside of the lever - i.e. the product becomes a mold. Before pouring, the strength of the material of each part is calculated so that vibrations are damped, rather than transmitted through the part.
